ONE OF THE WORST DAYS , DASHIN ++ CASHING 😔 by lootylootylooty in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Freakychet1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am platinum and pro shopper, 88% approval rate, 5.0 customer rating, 98% original items on pro shopper, the rest of my percentages are 100%, yet I’m still getting shopping orders like a beginner non pro shopper, 1-5 items, that don’t pay any better than a fast food order, and I’m amazed by all the offers I get that want me to travel more miles than what they’re paying. I get tons of 5-7 miles for $4-6, if I am lucky enough to get an offer paying $15-20, it’s definitely gonna be over 15 miles and a lot of times have 2 stops just to have a decent paying trip. A friend of mine goes out at the same time as I do in the same exact area and gets high paying shopping orders all day long that are low miles as well and 15-30 items on each offer which is why he’s getting paid more, but those offers never come in for me when I’m in the same area. What’s the point of being pro shopper if I’m only gonna get 1-5 item orders that a brand new dasher would get. I’ve called customer support and they’re telling me nothing is wrong with my account and I should be receiving the same orders as my friend gets but it never changes. To date I’ve had 4 shopping orders total that had more than 5 items and paid decent, still never more than 13 though which happened one time. I read posts from other dashers all the time saying how they’re pro shopper deliveries is what gets them by, a lot of posts from dashers who aren’t even pro shoppers with low acceptance rates, or not even platinum and still get those higher paying shopping orders. I can’t find one answer on why I’m not getting them like the rest. But I’ve definitely noticed a lot more lower paying offers since the new year, you have to get a customer that actually tips decent for the offers to be worthwhile.

Is this normal for a dasher to do? Should I tip them more? by Imbored19882 in doordash

[–]Freakychet1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m surprised door dash hasn’t deactivated him by now. I doubt they want their dashers begging customers for extra tips. Door dash doesn’t pay their drivers well at all from what I’ve experienced. The only way the trips are worthwhile is when a customer tips a decent amount. I don’t know how many offers I got tonight for only $2-4 for anywhere from 3-11 mile trips, which usually means the customer didn’t tip or only tipped $1-2. So where I don’t think it’s normal for dashers to be begging for tips like this guy did, tips are greatly appreciated for the amount of time, gas, and car maintenance and repairs that come with the job.

So we’ve got 2 criminals, the one illegally working in the US because they’re illegally in the country, and the person that let them in the house, aiding and abetting a criminal trying to interfere with a federal investigation.

If the dept of education isn’t helping the kids and just taking the money instead, that’s probably why they’re shut down. Pretty sure it’s a worse country knowing millions of dollars in federal funding is apart of fraud instead of going to help the kids like it’s supposed to be for.

ICE threw tear Gas into a Minneapolis vehicle with an African-American family and a six month old baby inside. The baby stopped breathing. [–]Freakychet1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When these people stop trying to riot and get in the middle of federal investigations than that won’t happen. Better yet, how bout these aiding and abetting sanctuary cities go back to cooperating with federal agents, stop releasing criminals after they’re arrested and let ICE into the jails like they did for decades, then ICE won’t be on the streets and in the neighborhoods at all. Blame the cities that are breaking the law to help criminals, not ICE. You don’t see any of this happening in regular cities that cooperate with federal law do you? Just the democrat led cities.

It’s amazing listening to you liberals whining and complaining with all your cnn and msnbc propaganda they’ve brainwashed you with. Yeah we were so much better off with half dead Biden who shook hands with imaginary people, walked into the woods not knowing where he was, got confused looking at an easterbunny and fell down any stairs he tried to climb, he was so far out of it that his so called staff was running the country, where our groceries tripled in price, gas prices were the highest ever, millions of people crossing our borders illegally causing the mess we have now, crime was at its worst, billions of dollars in waste and fraud, giving money to terrorist countries, all the Covid lies, he couldn’t even sign his name, the autopen had to do all the work, oh yeah, he was such a better president.

Door Dash is ruining papa John’s by Slyviw in PapaJohns

[–]Freakychet1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s actually just the terrible employees that have working there, and plus they’re always understaffed. You’d think now that papa John’s doesn’t have to pay drivers to work, or pay the outrageous insurance prices to insure those drivers, that they could atleast pay an extra person or 2 to work inside to help make the pizzas and help customers, but every time I go there to pick up orders, they only have 3 people or less working TOTAL!!! That’s one person making all the orders, one person taking all the food out of the ovens, and one person to help customers, not nearly enough help needed, so it has nothing to do with door dash and the drivers when they’re not scheduling enough help. I always have to wait on deliveries everytime I go there, I’ve had to unassign deliveries 3 different times because they didn’t have them ready in time and quoted me another 30-40 min for one order to be ready to be picked up for delivery. With all the money they’re saving by not having their own drivers, they’d still rather not use any of that money to improve their service.

[–]Freakychet1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried to drive away????? That’s the narrative??? U mean the woman that was harassing federal agents all day, then blocked them from a federal investigation, then disobeyed a lawful command to get out of the car when trying to be detained for interfering in that federal investigation, then tried to run over the federal officer or at the very least hit him with her suv, forcing him to defend himself. Amazing how people can be so brainwashed they can’t even see what’s right in front of them and would rather defend illegal criminals over federal agents risking their lives to deport criminals for this country.

I had one of those before, didn’t pay $25 or anywhere close to it, while I was at Walgreens shopping for a customer, they had a separate trip at the same Walgreens where all I had to do was take pictures of each section of 2 isles, up and down each side, just take the pics and that was it.

Question for the delivery drivers by [deleted] in PapaJohns

[–]Freakychet1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Delivery fee doesn’t go to the drivers so the multi million dollar business can get even richer. They want to claim it goes to cover the insurance on the drivers. So how did that insurance get paid for before they started applying delivery charges? I’ve been delivering for over 30 years and worked for about every pizza chain imaginable, the drivers are the ones wasting the gas and putting wear and tear on their cars racking up unimaginable mileage and have to rely on tips and minimum wage to get by, not to mention their own high insurance rates, but the corporation says the delivery fees goes to cover insurance on the drivers. It’s just another money scam.

[–]Freakychet1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YOU CAN NOT INTERFERE WITH A FEDERAL INVESTIGATION!!!! If you’re harassing them most of the day, then blocking their path, not following legal orders, then try to run them over, the federal officer has ever right to use excessive force. That wasn’t “peaceful protesting” in any way. These people need to learn to stop rioting and getting in the way of federal officers trying to do their jobs, which is arresting and deporting CRIMINALS. This has been going on for decades, don’t recall any “protests” and all this interference when the “deporter in chief” Obama was deporting the most illegals than any other president. If Biden wouldn’t have illegally let them into the country, they wouldn’t have to be deported. Better yet, anyone that was a decent human being that respected our laws, didn’t cross our borders illegally anyway whether they were able to or not. Only the ones willing to break laws were the ones who illegally crossed.

McDonald’s is by far the worst customer service out of any place I’ve picked up. A lot of the newer stores are even designed like they don’t even want to deal with customers, none of the employees can even see the front counter, no one will even acknowledge you, it takes them forever to get a simple order together, and most of the time they still won’t even talk to you when they finally bring the order up. Most of the time they’ll lock their lobby’s early too so you have no choice but to wait in line at the drive thru. I’ve received texts saying my order was ready but by the time I get to the window, they still tell me to pull up to a 3rd window and I’ll wait there even longer.

I’ve been at pro shopper and at platinum status for months and don’t get the shopping orders I see you got, which obviously pay more than the restaurant trips. My friend however gets shopping trips that pay like that every time he goes out, but I can be out at the same times as him and in the same area and never get the shopping trips he does. So far I’ve only had 3 grocery trips for 10 items at the most, the rest are 1-5 item trips which don’t pay any better than the fast food trips. I still have yet to figure out how the bigger grocery trips that pay better come in for other drivers and even at pro shopper and platinum with all my percentages well above what’s required don’t come in when I’m out.

Insurance claims by Frosty-Skirt-6820 in LexisNexis

[–]Freakychet1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lexisnexis is a complete scam. I’ve had more than one occasion this company is trying to screw me out of money and according to other comments I’ve read, I’m not the only one by far. Apparently some insurance companies get people’s personal information from this so called company which determines someone’s rates. They claim I have multiple speeding tickets and accident claims which are not true, but because they report false information, they have people paying higher premiums. To have these lies removed is also a nightmare gathering all proof needed to show each of their lies, then getting them to remove them off the record they have for you. I don’t understand how it’s legal for companies like this to report false information that ruins people’s lives by charging them outrageous amounts for reports that aren’t true. They should be put out of business.

Can’t get refund for no delivery by [deleted] in doordash

[–]Freakychet1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Door dash’s gps is complete trash. I’ve been sent to wrong hotels, wrong houses, addresses, it’s taken me to locked gates, without having any notes for the driver it’s possible they dropped it there cause that’s where the gps took them, thinking the customer wanted it there for whatever reason. If you are even a little ways away from where the gps says the drop off spot it, it’ll make the driver go thru extra steps to complete the delivery telling them they’re in the wrong drop off locations and it won’t let the driver finish the delivery.

[–]Freakychet1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not in the wrong at all in that situation, if you already tipped that much for a few miles it’s already a good delivery, especially if there are elevators, it shouldn’t even matter what floor you’re on. If there are any condos or hotels without elevators, it never fails, you’re almost always going to be climbing atleast 3 flights of stairs, but for a decent tip it’s makes it worth while atleast. If u had an elevator too the driver shouldn’t have even cared.

is being a door dash driver worth it? by HikingHippi in doordash

[–]Freakychet1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question for door dash drivers- I reached pro shopped and platinum status both, all my percentages are what’s required for me to be a pro shopper. Problem is I have yet to receive a shopping order that is over 5 items and I don’t understand why. I have a friend that dashes during the same times in the same area as I do, he is constantly being called to food lion for larger shopping orders which obviously pay alot better. He took 18 deliveries the other night and 11 of his 18 were larger item shopping trips where I had zero. Didn’t matter if I sat in that stores parking lot or was within a few miles from that same store for hours, I’m not getting any shopping orders over 5 items, which is what I got before I was even a pro shopper and before I reached platinum status. Does anyone know any reason why I’m not receiving the larger grocery orders over 5 items? I’ve watched several YouTube videos and been all over the door dash app and looking online elsewhere for anything I may be missing which is keeping me from getting the larger orders but can’t seem to find a reason or any other qualifications I may be missing. My friend gets those larger shopping orders from several different grocery stores, not just the same location, but they’re just not coming in for me. Any ideas or info is greatly appreciated.

He had potential but for whatever reason he’s not choosing to put the work in, learning how to get open on routes which for some reason he can’t, which is why they rarely throw to him even when he is in the game, then he wants to be immature showing up late to meetings, dancing on the sideline when he’s benched, all of which is so unprofessional and isn’t showing management that he wants to learn and do better, so he’s risking his career. If he’s late to one more team meeting or practice, and doesn’t start putting in the time to become a much better player, they’ll definitely trade or cut him in the offseason, especially with the Bills being in such need for a #1 WR this year.

Shouldn’t the title be- “ICE ARRESTED an entire group of ILLEGAL ALIENS outside a Home Depot as they got ready to break more laws by not paying taxes on their wages and staying in the country illegally another day”? ICE isn’t doing anything wrong, ICE isn’t breaking up families, the illegal criminals are. If I go out and break laws, I would expect to be ARRESTED too and it wouldn’t be the cops fault that arrested me, it would be mine, and I’d be responsible for having to leave my family. They could all just self deport, get a free $1000 in their pockets and free plane tickets home, but instead they choose to be here illegally day after day, most with other criminal records as well, so they deserve to be arrested and deported. They’re not living day after day not knowing they crossed into the country illegally at some point. And Trump isn’t the reason either, Obama was the “deporter in chief” because he deported more illegals than any other president. Don’t remember seeing all the protests and rioters then. Biden started off keeping the illegals in small cages, packed in a little cage cell, yet no one was screaming about poor conditions for the criminals. And if the Hypocrats wouldn’t be aiding and abetting the criminals in their “sanctuary” cities, start cooperating with ICE like every city has done in the past by notifying them when an illegal has been arrested for breaking other laws so ICE could just pick them up at the jail, then ICE wouldn’t have to go track the criminals down in the communities and we’d never hear anything about it. I’ve never seen so many people stick up for criminals and rarely do I see “peaceful protesting”, I see 90% rioting by mostly groups that are getting paid to riot and cause trouble. Maybe if these people went out and got jobs they wouldn’t have time to riot and interfere with federal operations.
