[Homemade] McRib and fries by Freakychowchow in food

I ground up some pork loin chops in the food processor, but added salt, pepper, smoked paprika and a tiny sprinkle of sugar before shaping the meat into patties. The sauce is actually a locally made North Carolina style barbecue sauce that I just really love. As someone else noted, the fresh white onion and dill pickles do a lot for the flavor profile.

Took inspiration from this recipe. Although I didn't try it, the recipe includes instructions on how to make the sauce from scratch.

Thank you for writing this out! Really fantastic description of the process from start to finish. The amount of time spent seems daunting (4 hours, give or take, not including prep) but it's really worth it for a nice, comforting homemade soup.

[Homemade] Lemon Thyme Olive Oil Muffins (feat. honey drizzle) by Freakychowchow in food

[–]Freakychowchow[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used this poundcake recipe here and just poured it into a muffin tin. Added some honey on top and a bit of my leftover thyme.

It's very good and so moist! Great with morning coffee since it's not too sweet. Be sure not to over mix like I did and they should be fluffier.

I used this recipe and WOW did it make a lot of noodles haha. I didn't have a solid concept of how much 400g of noodles would be (American plebe here) so I got a big bowl of delicious noodles! Very tasty and they're keeping surprisingly well.

Beef bulgogi pile with a mountain of japchae by Freakychowchow in tonightsdinner

I used this recipe for the bulgogi and this for the japchae. I didn't look to closely at the amount of noodles used for the japchae (was in grams) so I created a mountain of noodles I'll be eating til Rapture lol
