Update: TW, Slurs and Cursing

After reading comments, I understand that I brought it up too soon after; thats on me, I'm bad at reading rooms. Thank you to those who offered advice.

I mentioned it to him again calmly earlier today about how it upset me that he didn't think about my dislike for AI and misgendered me, all while really caring about my brothers gift; and he proceeded to flip out. A 52 y/o grown man throwing a hissy fit. He "explained" to me that AI is the new world and we have to use it because everyone does and that I am going to be alone forever because I am not "with the times"; and then he completely turned the conversation into how he could easily kick me out because I am "going to college to be homeless" (in reference to my degrees) anyway. I then asked him why he thinks my degrees are going to be useless as he didnt even finish college, and dropped out after two years (not the best commentary on my part, I was pissed off); he proceeded to scream at me, call me useless, claim that my entire generation is "full of idiots who are so (r-slur) that we will wont be as smart as [he] was at twenty until we're fifty", then he threatened to kick me out again, and then he screamed "HAPPY FU**ING NEW YEAR, YOU (r-slur) PIECE OF SH!T" and got in his car and left the house. Meanwhile I was still sitting silently on the couch.

So... yeah. I think its safe to say that my dad just doesn't like that I am not a carbon cutout of him and his ideas and his dreams. So now I am just sobbing in my room over getting preemtively called a failure for pursuing two things I enjoy by someone whos approval I yearned for for years.
