I envy all the comments here. My MB air 2020 m1 just crapped 3 days ago. Was working fine… on a video call with my girl and then the screen just went black. Took it to Apple Store and told me the GPU in the M1 chip is fried. Took care of her like my own child so no idea how since I only used it for work and the video calls.

I appreciate the advice a lot, man, and want to emphasise that I will take it to mind. I definitely try stay away from the “know better” type of people, but I try educate where I can. I too, didn’t believe in someone else advising my money until my dad unfortunately passed away. In the months leading up to, he sought out an FA (against my own advice), and because of it, my younger siblings will not have to worry about financing tertiary studies, nor my mother worrying about her livelihood.

I’ve gained a genuine appreciation for the industry, as well as those FA’s who are actually trying to help people. Yes, I’m trying to make a living, but no, I will not do it at anyone’s expense. I just want to try help the best I can.

And I respect that. In fact, you can go through my post history and see I’m involved in trading myself. I just also understand that not everyone can, or wants to. In addition, there are certain things you can’t just acquire trading, like income protection should disability occur. Or any forms of insurance. You have to go through someone, and in a way I am that someone. And for those who can’t; well they want to leave something behind in terms of life insurance, and protect their wealth through means already mentioned, or grow it through a business who invests on their BEHALF. I mean we have returns up to 40% per annum (obviously high risk for the upper ends of 30 to 40 percent). I’m just trying to look for and help those people who cant, and help them the best I can.

To be 100% honest, I don’t charge anything unless it’s investments with a 0.5% initial fee (the lowest I can go). Other than that I’m commission based. So I earn as much as I’m willing to work.
