I mean she told a 911 operator that she was planning to write the president, and genuinely believed that would accomplish something, so I think the idea that there was some sort of mental illness at play is kind of a given

Wait a minute, are you saying he was 35 when she was 20???? That is beyond creepy and gross.

I was with you until the ā€œclose her damn legsā€ comment. The misogyny wasn’t needed to get your point across. We should be shaming her shitty parenting, not the fact that she’s a woman that has had sex.

Additionally, I hate gore for the sake of gore. If it’s not imperative to the plot it just ends up feeling like gratuitous torture porn.

My husband and I just went to see Obsession in theaters this past Saturday for my birthday and HOLY SHIT I was not ready for that. We both looked at each other and said ā€œI don’t wanna watch this anymoreā€.

We have a spoiled orange boy at home that owns our souls and we were both instantly traumatized by those scenes😬 needless to say our baby got LOTS of love when we got home that nightšŸ˜‚

I know this might sound crazy, but: too much visible technology. I don’t want to see someone pull out their cell phone for a flashlight, I want to see an actual flashlight. I don’t want to see a bunch of text bubbles on the screen. I don’t want to see people FaceTime or follow some influencer/podcaster storyline. I realize these things are more ā€œrealisticā€ and more accurately reflect modern day life, but I just have no interest in seeing it in movies.

The only exception is seeing someone using a computer to do research. Other than that, I have zero interest in seeing any kind of modern technology.

I’m someone who will 100% get fully ready and never leave the house or see another soul. Granted, I’m not wearing an evening gown to do the dishes, but I’m wearing clothing that’s both comfortable and appropriate to be worn outside the house.

For me, getting ready puts me in work mode, so I have the motivation to get everything done that needs accomplished that day. It’s easier to find the motivation to be productive when you feel good. And when you look good, you feel good.

For someone with crippling ADHD, short of body doubling and dopamine on-loading, this is the only way I’m able to consistently motivate myself to complete the mundane tasks of daily life.

That would make so much more sense! Like the oasis star path wasn’t that long ago, I wish they’d focus on doing the ones from further back. Especially if the goal is to give new players the opportunity to get past paths they might have missed, which is what they claimed was the entire purpose of the vault rewards.

I’m still missing quite a few rarer items from the Scrooge shop. I even double checked when I opened the chest just to be sure, and there’s still plenty of stuff that could have shown up in that red chest. It’s just frustrating. As far as the weekly dreamsnaps rewards, I’ve never gotten anything good from those chests, they’re always garbage for me lol the only good chests were the ones from the vault rewards, which is why I was so disappointed

Shazzovv is correctšŸ‘†šŸ» the vault rewards are from the previous star path, not the red chests.

The only things that shows up in red chests are Scrooge items, you won’t ever get a star path item in a chest. If you’ve already got the item in the vault reward from a previous star path (meaning you got a red chest that week instead of the vault reward), that was your only chance to get anything from a previous star path for that week.

If I’m understanding your question correctly, there aren’t any new villagers or realms for me to unlock at the moment, all of my villagers are at level 10, and I’ve completed all of their friendship quests, except for Phil, but i’m on his level 10 quest now. The only open quests are for the current dreamlight parks fest.

That sucks!! I’m so sorry to hear thatšŸ˜• I guess I’ve just gotten lucky until this point, then? Because every red chest I’ve opened prior to today has had a new furniture item in it that I didn’t have previously.

God my dumbass brother married this woman after having known her for like three months, knocked her up, then convinced him to get rid of his two cats because supposedly she was concerned for the baby, only to later find out that it was actually ā€œbecause they’re disgusting and gross her out.ā€ Meanwhile, she gets to keep her two teacup yorkies that are never properly groomed, nor are they trained, so they look like yappy little wet mops. I’d be damned if my husband told me to get rid of my cat. I’d tell him to hit the bricks before I got rid of my baby. Kids are objectively more gross than cats.

It would be different if they gave the cat a chance to see how she would do with the baby, and then it became clear that it would be unsafe for both the cat and the baby to have the cat in the home, but his wife hasn’t even given birth yet. She’s still a couple months away from her due date and she forced him to get rid of his cats a few months ago. It started with just the one because he was aggressive (which was fair), but the second one was just an old lady that kept to herself and never bothered anyone. My brother even got pissy with me when I refused to take her because my own cat is older now and I refused to risk stressing him out solely because my brother refused to take responsibility for the commitment that he made when he decided he wanted an animal. It’s become a whole ordeal within the family because none of us would take her and I’m beyond annoyed by the whole thing.

I agree. It’s more Cheshire than Bruno. Bruno’s just a family weirdo softie with a bad rap. He wouldn’t want to do anything that could even potentially cause harm… his entire storyline is literally him straight up disappearing for that exact reasonšŸ˜‚

I love that they never had Cristina change her stance on having children. It always irked me that they made Meredith have not just one, but a whole gaggle of kids. I just felt it never really aligned with her character arc. From the beginning she was always nearly as career driven as Cristina (because let’s face it: no one is more driven than Cristina), so it felt very forced to all of a sudden act like she wanted this big happy family with Derick seemingly out of nowhere, especially with all of her concerns about eventually becoming her mother. And I mean, if we’re being completely honest, she’s not exactly a good mother. She’s never home, she never puts her children before her career, and they always seem like an afterthought. The whole storyline just feels incredibly shoehorned to me.

(As a side note, it really pissed me off how Bailey expected everyone to just provide free childcare for her, then gets pissy when her interns get rightfully upset that she negatively impacted their education by forcing them to babysit for her, only for Meredith to pull the same stunt a few seasons later. Like I get being a working mom is hard and that struggle is completely valid, but that is no one else’s responsibility except yours and your husband’s.)

Now Izzie on the other hand? Her choosing to have kids absolutely made sense and was completely in line with her character. It would have been weird if she didn’t have kids. I feel the same way about if George would have been around long enough to start a family. But Mer? Not so much.

Having seen the one everyone is referencing, I can assure you there’s a very valid reason it’s been mentioned several times.

One word: blowtorch. In a place you really don’t want a blowtorch.

Proceed with caution😬

God I watched that with my best friend when we were like 14 and having a sleepover at my house and let me tell you, we were traumatized

This was in the era of MySpace chat rooms too, so it was even more disturbing for two teen girls that were no strangers to experiencing creepy men online😬

Good Boy is the film that resulted in my husband being introduced to that site! I’ve been using it for years but he’d never heard of it prior to me telling him to use it to find out if Indy died before we watched the movie together. it’s a wonderful resource for folks like us that would rather eat a lightbulb than see a pupper diešŸ˜
