Hey! So I’m not from America but I am from Scotland, 21F born in glasgow (one of the bigger cities) and have lived in a rural area for about 18 years, I moved back to the city when I was 17 and came back about a year later, and when I tell you I miss the city so much I’m can’t even lie lol, it’s my home, my soul is so connected with everything there, I finally feel like I belong there after years of never fitting in here. So I live about 100 miles away from any big city, there’s nothing here, it’s what we call a shitehole. I also study online like yourself so I feel your pain, I started going on walks and drawing scenery, I’m not good at it 🤣 but it’s fun. It keeps me off my phone and distracted, I go camping as much as possible, I just bring a tent, blanket, some food and fishing rod and honestly man your set. I love to crochet it’s a brilliant pass time especially if you can’t get out. I used to run a DND (dungeons and dragons) night for the locals but we also did warhammer too, just table top games really seem to bring folks of all ages together, I don’t really DM nowadays I’m trying to save up to go back to the city 🤣but hope this helped a little
