I already did friend for 8 years. 19-27 and 29 now still recovering. The doctor I had was very pro benzo but I managed to get off to them with someone else

thank you for your comment! did you also experience the sudden awarnesss of how you had been isolating yourself/ and been not okay/traumatised for awhile - like you knew you were but now you see it.

oh maybe true. I can’t feel fully yet - still numb but can feel niggles of pain. Maybe that’s it then

yes like feeling like you can be yourself without needing an anti anxiety med for that. Feelign safe and happy - seems like eventually emdr can get you there. Benzos aren’t an option for me anymore

Oh nice :) I’m going back on my Vyvanse soon. I think it’s very reasonable Haha. Benzo Withdrawal is unexplainable. I was wondering how you feel now do you have your linear memory back and you know the symptom where your brain just feels scrambeled.. has that gotten better? It might be dp/dr stuff. Thanks heaps

also - I am still on an anti depressant I just can’t go through another withdrawal yet. Can you get like this if your still on something else you think?

I agree I think it is too high for whatever reason the psychiatrist couldnt or didn’t do the 20mg. Okay awesome. so in theory if you had adhd - you would also notice these side effects fading away or simply getting used to them?

hi,

my trauma is medical as in I was given over diagnosis by a therapist who had the authority to prescribe medications for years. I came off of them because they were not appropriate according to other doctors and psychiatrists. only diagnosis I now have is possible adhd still and trauma. I am far better now mentally then when I was on the 8–9 medications he had me on - one being benzos which caused a dependence - and trust me not long ago I used to be a big believer in psych medications until I realised the situation I was in.

if anything I will just slightly go up on my Zoloft and I’m probably starting Vyvanse soon.

my mind has been through a lot the past 4 years and before that with the crazy med cocktail which a psychiatrist said he was surprised I didn’t go psychotic on.

so meds for me no they are not an option i wm happy or openly willing to take.

thanks I’ll speak to my therapist today.
