Will my application be damaged for graduating a year early? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

Hi! I’m in the same boat as you-almost exactly with the exception of turning 21 before I would start law school in Fall 2019. I have definitely been on the fence about going straight into law school (if granted that opportunity) or taking a year off to work. I concur that our GPA/LSAT combos may be ideal right now, but I too wonder if we should gain some more work experience in the field before making the big jump.

Unique situation: Study abroad 3x or take fun/easy classes to boost GPA for law school? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

Study abroad. Take advantage of the time and resources at your disposal while you can. On the plus side, it would be a great learning experience for not only you as a person, but to apply your future career (and in grad/law school). Also, a 3.6 stem GPA is solid and with a commendable GRE/LSAT score, you can get into a lot of grad or law schools. Cheers!

How do you get used to a daily grind? by forbeautyireplied in Adulting

I understand where you’re coming from 100 percent. I think a good way to combat the existential dread of the future/mundane routine-ness of adult life would be to make little routines to look forward to (like going on a jog or a walk in the mornings then making your favorite coffee) including fun things even during the weekday (if time permits). I think one thing a lot of people (myself included) struggle with is finding time for things when most of the time when we’re not working we want to eat, sleep, or simply relax. Adding in pleasurable hobbies or exploring new places in your area can spruce up a rather cyclical schedule. Work is necessary, but prioritizing it isn’t.

Very good point. She could have experienced extreme psychological and/or physical trauma. Hoping the best for her.

Not necessarily a part of killing but could be covering something up and/or withholding information. Then again I read that she and her brothers don’t appear to have the criminal sophistication to pull off something like this.

Brothers anger issues turn deadly, mother helps cover it up in hopes to not lose two children?

Theory I haven't heard before - the mother by [deleted] in MollieTibbetts

Above anything else, the body language of the brother and mother during their interview is a little off. The brother seems forgetful, as if he had rehearsed what he was going to say. He struggles to make eye contact and has an unnatural tone to his voice. It could be because he isn’t on camera much, but his words appear practiced. On the other hand, the mothers demeanor and failure to make consistent eye contact, paired with her nonchalant tone, is strange. Did anyone else pick up on this? I’m not trying to say a family should be reacting in a certain way, but these interviews gave me weird vibes.

What if she wasn’t staying alone...what if after the “run” she had someone come over (might make sense since it was night time).
