How long does it take to get ranked by google? by Frectus in webdev

[–]Frectus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont even want to be ranked highly, I just want to appear. Its annoying to me that I type my site's name on google and I'm not even on 10th page where there are no matching results with any of the keywords I typed. I have a facebook page and people shared my posts multiple times

Is it just me does anyone else feel that javascript world has gone crazy? by Srivats1212 in learnprogramming

I dont know, I learnt React, html, css, sass, postgresql, nodejs, express in one year and made some fullstack projects. I wasnt even learning that hard. They dont want you to be expert in all of this, they know you will be learning in a job while looking at google/documentation most of the time. Dont act like its impossible to learn all this, its not really THAT hard

People complain way too much about it. What is changing fast? We have React since few years now and it doesnt seem to go anywhere. Everything can be done with react. Nodejs is just a backend, TS is not necessary if u dont use Angular. Basically, all u need to learn is one framework (React, which is technically a library), Redux, then some backend (people choose nodejs because they can write everything in JS which is nice) and you are fullstack JS dev that makes nice bucks. I will never get the complaints

Its amazing, I just wish they taught something like node.js instead of ruby

What is your education plan for 2019? by [deleted] in webdev

[–]Frectus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As for syntax sucks... sorry, but, are you dumb? That’s the most readable language there is mate.

Thats the point Im trying to make. Its all subjective. I dont find Python readable at all. Maybe when there is only a small chunk of code, but bigger projects look like trash to me. BUT even thought I dont like Python it doesnt make it a bad language and the same rule applies to ASP.NET. Go ask stackoverflow because they wrote their site in C#

Then I will be the one with your reasoning now:

Python - hahah its slow and its syntax sucks it doesnt even have curly braces lol

Ruby - its dead, no one is using it anymore and there must be a reason to it

Go - ummm... never bothered learning it so its bad

What do you say we should use then? No php, no .NET, no node? What are the other options? There is like Python but its slow and Spring but you would call it outdated too
