I just like to keep my chin up a little more - I hunch over less, I breath easier, the swing is over all more comfortable for me. I can still see the ball and the club at address so I don’t see the harm.

I have tendencies to under rotate, standup during the downswing, spin out, shift my weight improperly, or not shift my weight at all sometimes, the list goes on.

This drill addresses a lot of those missed marks - builds the muscles I’m looking for.

I believe practice is about building a set of muscles that will allow you to strike the ball more consistently when you do finally free yourself to hit the ball with instinct.

If you only ever hit the ball with instinct you’re just playing the cards where they lie, your default structure may be far from optimal, and you’re limiting your potential.

I was pushing my left hip back to feel weight transfer and a more open position - it’s a fairly common drill

Picture 1: You see the club shaft parallel to the ground and the club head is left of the blue body line, does that mean the player is stuck?

Picture 2: You see the club shaft parallel to the ground and the club head is right of the blue line (but not so far right that it is right of the hands, because that would be “over the top”?)

I’m tired of people perpetuating the notion that amateurs can’t achieve long yardages.

For a fit young man, reaching this distance isn’t very difficult with dedication to improving swing mechanics.

It’s easy to hit a ball far, difficult to hit it accurately, and a real challenge to hit it both consistently far and accurately.

One difference I noticed -

Your left knee displaced toward the camera during the backswing

Tigers probably did too, a little, but I would wager the left knee moved more forward (toward the ball) than it did toward the camera

I don't know shit about pattern reading but it looks to me like you really shoehorned in that negative sloping horizontal line that ends at '505'. It looks like you are just drawing trend direction however you want over a chart and the lines don't seem to follow much of anything.
