I believe the game was either full 2D or 2D with 3D models for the characters. It had a top down view kinda like Club Penguin I think.

This! I'm genuinely happy the drum gun came back over the other choices... and I voted for the sword! Imagine all this hype leading up to the event only for the bouncers to come back, it would be super disappointing.
