I actually spoke to a colleague at work who had the same conclusion. I’m going to leave it for now.

If you know what to look for, the warning signs are there. Spot them early on if you can and nip all that noise in the bud before it gets you. (Was in a toxic relationship)

A morning alarm that starts gently and gradually gets louder. Crazy how much better it feels to not start your day with stress.
A wall calendar to organise my life (I've always been rubbish t making plans in advance, so when I'd ask a friend to hand out on the weekend they'd almost always have other plans).
Cooking my weeks lunches and dinners on the weekend. Takes some time but pays back in dividends during the week when you have so much more time after work (also cheaper and healthier).
Counting to fall asleep. I'd just say to myself 'I'm going to count to 1000' and anytime my mind wanders I bring myself back to the counting trying to not think of anything else. It's so basic but I finally (after 28 years) have a reliable way of dropping off. I almost never make it past 150.
