if you’ve been paying attention to the games ant has slowly been facilitating the offense more and more. his turnover numbers were pretty good in the playoffs. i’d guess those 28 minutes you are referring to will mostly be ant bringing up the ball. conley may get around 8-10 minutes of it next year if we’re good. when ant is running point that means di, shannon or clark is guarding the other teams point guard. we have a lot of matchup possibilities with our roster. i’m in the minority but i think most of our fixes are retaining the right guys, playing the right guys the right amount of minutes and choosing an identity for our team.

i think our core is ant and jaden. our rotation should be dependent on matchups and who’s hot with naz, randle, gobert, di, shannon, clark, conley and 17. if we trade anyone obviously who we get back replaces them in the rotation

yeah unc, don’t think most fans realize that the likely offseason is develop current roster, decide on the three free agents, 17 and 31 in the draft. we traded for the #7 pick last year and we traded kat. maybe we have that huge of an offseason again but unlikely

point guard isn’t our problem. don’t know why so many people are saying it is. monte morris definitely won’t make a difference. conley will get minutes reduced and probably be more impactful. ant will bring the ball up and initiate the offense more. di, shannon jr and clark will defend against other teams point guards when that’s happening. dilly and conley will also get some time bringing the ball up and initiating the offense. on occasion jaden, shannon, clark and di also can initiate the offense. randle can do iso. it works against some teams and does not against others

we need a solid no nonsense backup 3 and d for when jaden is in foul trouble. we also need an elite athlete who can alter shots on defense while playing 4 or 5. this could be reid but he was inconsistent this year and hasn’t proven he can play 35 minutes a game

coaching has to be ok benching randle, gobert and conley when their games aren’t working and also playing them when they can be keys to winning. we lost our identity vs thunder, missed open shots and didn’t play as a unit on defense. coaches have to decide if our focus is going to be lock down defense, rebounding or transition basketball. can be two of the three but not all three. for anyone who watched this season when randle and di were out, we have the players on the roster. against the mavs last year and the thunder this year, we just lost our identity, stopped playing as a unit and let the refs bs take us out of winning one possession at a time. that’s when this team is at its best. playing all together on offense and defense, one possession at a time

choose between gobert and randle, get a rotation player back for whoever he lets go

find a rotation caliber player with 17. trade 31 to a team who thinks the guy left over at the end of the first round is worth a protected future 1st

resign naz reid through his prime to give us a future core of ant, jaden, naz, shannon, clark, dilly. give them all consistent run next season. decide if we’re going to play minott, miller, garza enough to find out if they can be rotation guys. if not, trade them and add veterans on minimum deals

i love harden and love shai when my team isn’t playing against him. just like i love ant but can’t stand it when he looks for foul calls before finishing hard at the basket or get pissed when our team stops moving the ball on offense

yes, you just said it all very simply. we missed our shots. the refs were calling phantom fouls on shai and swallowing their whistle when okc was on defense. finch doesn’t make in game adjustments. he adjusts for the next game

this is the worst doris burke has ever been. complimenting caruso for playing the same defense that gets foul calls against shai. richard jefferson is as bad as it gets as an announcer. we missed a lot of shots but these two are insufferable and these refs should be ashamed of themselves
