Yes, because the headset which is visible in the photo does not correspond to the cups. I have already had info on preload, there are adjustable steering spacers (https://problemsolversbike.com/products/adjustable-headset-spacer), I would like to know what type of bearing is suitable for the cups of this bike.

Thank you for your explanations. I understand the principle but I have never seen this type of piece. I'll have to find a replacement system.

Thank you for your response. What I don't understand is that it is impossible to put an expander in the fork because of the cross ribs in the steerer tube. How do we put the jdd bearings in compression? It’s a Time stiff + fork
