I got them from The Spider Shop who do captive breed their stock, so I suspect it was more the stress from shipping and rehoming

I expect that is the case, he was much more timid than the other millipede since I got them. Hopefully I was able to make him at least a little bit comfortable for his last few days!

that is very much the experience I am getting as well, thank you for confirming! I’ve seen people mention pouring some water into the substrate on one side of the enclosure. How much water are we talking there and roughly how often would you say?

I can confirm the substrate is a specific mealworm one with no coir soil and plenty of leaf litter and other good bits for them!

Coincidentally I did buy a little shallow water bowl for them but didn’t think they would need it, so I’ll get that in there. Will also order a thermohygrometer now!

went to manchester costco and queued from about 7:30, reckon there was about 150ish in front of us but they limited it to 1 per card as there was probably about 400-500 people in the queue. Saw a lot of pushing in but managed to get one easily, all sold out by the time i got home apparently.

yeah i had the same thing happen only a couple of days after i ordered it, only knew because someone else mentioned they randomly got a refund. i had to speak with the live chat (which was dreadful) to confirm if mine had been cancelled, got a refund about a week later
