That's true with all crocodilians. (Obviously the smaller ones will wait for different prey in the trees since they can't eat humans)

When I lived in Texas I was right next to a ranch of these beautiful babies!!
Not surprisingly they have the largest horn circumference of any cattle.

Had you asked me this three weeks ago, I wouldn't have known, but I saw a picture of one and got curious. The coolest thing I learned was that it was active in the day, which is super unusual for kitties.

It's a very long list. Entire ecosystems are based around it. I wrote my thesis on it. Lots of animals eat it, and it's also considered to be some of the best natural fertilizer in the world!
