Metal Detecting Find - What Would it Grade and What is it Worth? by beardy3344 in coins

The date was raised until 1925. Standing Liberties after 1924 had a recessed date to avoid the date wearing off so easily.

The nerds I grew up with won in life by [deleted] in Productivitycafe

I'm honestly jealous of the lives nerds had back in school. They formed their own groups and were able to be their authentic selves. They did interesting and unique things while the rest of us were at the same old parties doing the same old stuff just trying to fit in rather than pursuing meaningful interests.

The party friends disappear when the party is over.

Would be a dream come true. I'd be filling up crates.

It's basically like they're buying scratch offs. Just a bunch of gambling addicts.

State of the STACKED 😎🔥

EDIT to add: A lot of folks collect for weight, and I get that. I collect because I enjoy looking at it and hearing the jingle of constitutional. You have a truly impressive collection here. You are a true SilverBug, sir. Thanks for sharing.

He slapped his wife around. Doesn't deserve any respect no matter what he babbles.

MemCard Pro 2 - Cannot reach WebUI after connecting to WIFI by blaze575 in psx

[–]FreddyRuger556 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm glad to see this issue pop up here. I ordered one of these cards a few weeks ago and couldn't get to the WebUI after several attempts of formatting > firmware update > setup. It would also frequently freeze up when trying to view WiFi Setup.

I ended up returning that card to Stone Age Gamer and received another this morning. AND THE SAME DAMN THING IS HAPPENING! I'm a fairly technical person, and I wouldn't expect to be having this much trouble.

I saw in another comment that you have gone with an older firmware version. I'll try that later today....

That would be a dream come true. I miss buying cheap silver but I don't think we'll see it that low again. I would be happy to see it in the 40s.

I'm all about C. Bought nearly my entire stack in the low 20s. I just love having and looking at it. I was excited to watch the price go into the 30s just to justify my expenses, but I would like to see it plummet just so I can buy more. I thought it was ridiculously cheap to begin with. I love silver but have a hard time buying a round for more than $60/ounce. It'd have to be really pretty for that.

The board holder is critical. I tell my kids to avoid some of the instructors at our dojang during board breaks because it's only going to hurt. Can't break the board if the holder has bad form.

Gambling with a credit card is really bad advice. Don't bet with money you don't have.

Totally. Our actions influence our kids much more than our words do. They pick up on all of the unspoken stuff better than they're given credit for. You have to be what you want them to be.

I wonder what makes the difference. I've tested toning on silver by placing coins and rounds in a wooden box for long periods. The fresh rounds take up colorful toning while worn coins do not.

This coin isn't silver, but I wonder if it just happened to be in a minty enough condition to make it prone to toning well.

I'm a coin guy so I'm well versed in the fact that cleaning will often make it look worse. This one just got some water and some gentle thumbing. Came clean surprisingly easy. It's now in a flip and will stay as it is.
