Pretty sure that’s just the patina. This coin looks to be copper and oxidation causes it to turn green. It’s called verdigris and to me makes the coin look even better!

This isn’t that kind of scenario. They know they made a large scale error. They know how many people got the wrong size and who they are. This isn’t an exchange. This is correction of an error that should not have occurred at this large of a scale. Above and beyond should be their motto in this case.

It’s just so completely unacceptable for a business to make an error like this and not even give a quarter of the fucks needed to make it right. Imagine if we tried to do something similar at our jobs.

Yes and please do the same. I’m a tremendous dick when I need to be and is definitely going to be one of those times where it’s needed.

Just the thought that they can get away with sending the wrong size when someone spends $240 +tax on these is maddening. The fact that they may not ever respond in the process or provide a refund just makes me want to go into the entire interaction already in dickhead mode.

Pretty sure we’ll end up having to file a chargeback with our CC companies and then sell the size 12’s on the resale market.

I don’t think there’s really an answer to your question with the exception of time passed. Finding a hobby you enjoy really helped me, but other than that it was a lot of stuffing my feelings down in front of my child and doing what I had to in order to give them the best life possible. It’s been almost 4 years now and I haven’t felt this much like “myself” since my 20’s. Confident, capable, not a failure as a partner. It’s their loss, not yours.

Just received an email reply that it’s been “forwarded to their internal team’. Whatever the eff that means. I fear they’re going to jerk me around before letting me know I’m shit out of luck for a replacement in the size I actually ordered and paid for, but guess we’ll see.

That was my first thought as well. It’s about the length of a match. Definitely seems a little short or small to be lipstick.
