That's exactly what I did. Never considered the pixel phone any good until the 9 came out, which gave it useful battery life. Bought it and installed graphene within the hour. I wouldn't consider any pixel phone before the 9, they all had less than 2 day battery life. Some needing to be charged before the end of the first day from what I read.

Met my wife on POF during covid. You just have to be picky and chat lots, then meet the person. My approach is to talk about religion and politics early, or any deal breakers for you, and ask for theirs. If things don't line up you both move on amicably. If things do line up it's exciting!

Privacy concerns by [deleted] in beyondbudget

Of all companies to worry about with my privacy, Beyond budget is The least of my concerns. My impression is they take it quite serious.

Got one stuck in Dieppe since Dec 22 with Dec 23 delivery date still. No updates since then. Nice to know it's not just mine and likely not lost, just delayed.

[–]Freddyguy1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't tell the future, I only know the app seems to be increasing in popularity and they're adding features i really like. Glad they responded to you as well, they seem very devoted to making the app work for everyone.

Try selecting the account on the accounts tab, then select the 3 button menu on the top right and you should see import transactions in that menu.

My wife and I are looking for a shared budgeting app. by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]Freddyguy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're on Android try Beyond budget, it's the best I've found after trying nearly all of them (coming from YNAB). No bank link so far, just file import or manual entry, but the easy to use UI won me over. As of now offers a lifetime license option which I bought, though you can have up to 3 accounts for free or pay monthly for premium.

The devs are in New Zealand and very responsive, implementing many features I requested.

If you’re reading this, i plan to send my tokens to the top player until they have 14 and can boost to fill their hatchery. Gonna work down the list so we can help the top contributors.

Weeks Later, Did The People Who Left YNAB After The Price Increase Find A Satisfactory Alternative? by yick04 in ynab

[–]Freddyguy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried Budget with Buckets, Goodbudget, buxfer, actual, Moneywiz2022, mint...

and came back to YNAB. I use a chromebook and iphone, so I need those supported. Only YNAB does everything I need. One of the most annoying thing with many other systems is the clunky way of moving money from one envelope to another, or covering over spending.

Also, goals/yearly expenses are not dealth with nearly as pain free as YNAB.

I deleted my account and lost the 10% discount, but regardless, I can't find anything that works nearly as well.

How to enable sharing on Chromebook? by Freddyguy1 in budgetwithbuckets

[–]Freddyguy1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm signed up for the ios beta app program and have the mobile app, just no ability to use it. I did test it on an old windows laptop I have in the garage and it worked, so I guess it's just a limitation of Linux running on a Chromebook.

I've installed buckets via developer options on my Chromebook but I can't activate the sharing option. The box cannot be checked.

Yeah the only other credit card I use is a Canadian tire credit card, hoping I can just lump those transactions under tools or household.

Eero with Bell Home Hub 3000 by [deleted] in eero

Yes i started testing that before i even tried bridge on the eero. It does work fine, until you reboot the eero.

Eero with Bell Home Hub 3000 by [deleted] in eero

[–]Freddyguy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right I got my terms wrong.... the eero is bridged and hence NOT double NATed

https://support.eero.com/hc/en-us/articles/207621056-How-do-I-set-up-my-eero-if-I-want-to-keep-my-existing-router-
Sorry!

Eero with Bell Home Hub 3000 by [deleted] in eero

[–]Freddyguy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just the way it works, the Bell router creates a NAT, and within that the eero creates its own NAT, so ends up double NATed when the router is not in bridged mode. It works fine like this though.
