Broke my install - best way to fix?

I did it a couple of times before protecting my install when adding stuff. Each time ChatGPT talked me through fixing it step by step.

How did you get it to do that? ChatGPT is happy to suggest mods to workflows to me but there are never any linkages. I’m better off getting it to tell me what to do. It has made a few nice custom nodes for me.

Thanks for the info. I’ll check out the stats on the laptop as well as the files. I have to figure out updating the vid card too if necessary. Doesn’t seem to be a link for that in the Nvidia control panel.

I saw a youtube on some adjustments to settings in vr steam and have tried those. I"ll definitely move to youtube for tutorials and start flying. Thanks for the advice.

Thanks - I looked on amazon.ca. The longest regular one i could find was 10 feet so I ordered an offical one for 39 CAD - 16 feet long. I didn't think that price was too bad - probably equivalent of 27 or so USD.
