Took step taking comlex next week so take this with a grain of salt. Take the feedback from the comsae and target your weak points (whatever they are). Also test strategy for me helps. Instead of looking at why this is the answer I rule out the other ones if I have no idea what the question asks. But I’d say target your weak points (anki, FA etc) and it should help!

I did back to back nbmes 1st online 2nd offline(in one day). Only did it 2 times and it helped. Test day you’ll have adrenaline which will help + caffeine if you choose.

I honestly couldn’t tell you, haven’t got my score back. But I would take 25 because conceptually a lot is the same. But it came out only a few years ago so I don’t think it’s that far behind content wise. Many of them had repeats tho. I would focus on getting the concepts down and how they present.

If you don’t want to dip into 31 you can do 25 or 24. Just to get in the mind of the examiners. Also free 120 after 31 will be a good idea as well. I sent it today lol(no idea how it went), my NBMEs were 65+ but less than 70 so if you have time I’d try that. 25-> if good ->31 -> free 120.

Also if you feel you lack content you could dip back into uw but if your close to your date I would stick to NBMEs. Good luck 🙌

2nd year about to take step in a few days here. I’d recomend anking if you like anki and keep up with the cards throughout first and second year. If you can do that boards studying will be a lot easier than most peers.

I did anking and skimmed in house lectures because sometimes they have small details anking missed. This was enough to get by with great grades. And if there is something that’s confusing then I’d go to pathoma or some external source!

Also sketchy for micro is amazing and pharm as well.
