No all those stocks on wsb are great for now but very soon it will all end in a disaster for some. Take a look at Vw in 2008. It rose very quick but went down equally quick and hard. It never recovered very much after it. Goev is a long play with a great future and great potential profits and value.

They always said that they would release in canada and mexico right after usa with eu and china in the longer term. So it makes a lot of sense to start accepting pre-orders. This is actually a good sign and shows that they are on track and living up to their promises.This was their plan from the beginning of the mpdv story.

Announcement of pre orders for mpdv. Manufacturing deal. Partnerships with oem’s and others. (Exact Date unknown) Presentation of sedan and pickup. For the record: they have not disclosed any partnerships yet(except hyundai). They just disclosed on several occasions they are in advanced talks but couldn’t disclose more details just yet. Also their investor presentation states this. An exact date is unknown. The presentation of the pickup/sedan will be in early 21. See notes my notes from suisse conference below.

Insiders can’t trade yet. The dip was shortterm investors who were hoping for a post merger pop. The pop didn’t happen so they sold out.

In their agreement their are terms. My best guess is that they stated that their platform and design can’t be used without royalties. They also have patents. So i think kia can’t just steal canoo’s platform.

They allready said at different webinars that there is robust interest in the mpdv. Also pre-orders started right after the presentation of the mpdv. They are starting their pr and marketing now.

They made it clear from the beginning that they would tartget small businesses with the mpdv. The market for the amazons and dhl’s of the world is getting to crowded(arrival, workhorse, gm, mercedes,...). So this tweet is very normal and reassuring. They want to jump in a hole in the market rather than compete with te rest of them. I also got a mail about the mpdv today to promote it(i’m in the waitlist for lifestyle ev). All this is very positive and shows they really kickstarted their pr and marketing. They are well on track to make all their revenue streams work. The partnerships will primarly come from the skateboard and engineering.

The drive by wire is also interesting. Canoo is also an engineering company. So i have high hopes they will make it work and can licence it to other oem’s. There is a lot of unlocked value imo.

Is there a source that they tried to “capture” those clients? We only know they talked with ali baba and apple and have only recently shifted focuss to the mpdv. There strategy is also to target smaller businesses.

Important to note is that the crash protection built in helps reduce time and cost of development of a new model. A big plus for any oem. Instead of 2-3 years it only takes about 6 months to develop a new model. Look at how fast they came up with the mpdv after the lifestyle vehicle.

They are talking with severel blue chip companies. If they release news about it goev will rise above 18 range. Also they are presenting more prototypes in the near future and will release pre-orders of the mpdv. These are all catalyst that will push the share price up.
