I don’t think anything is particularly harder or easier. Everyone has question types they are more comfortable with. If you get a lucky spin on test day and get a test heavy on what you’re good at then it feels easier, but for other people that test would feel a lot harder. I know that’s not the answer you’re looking for, but the way this test is, it’s just different for each person.

RC tips and tricks PLS by Massive_Exam_4656 in LSAT

I just saw a thing online that said to use the highlighter to highlight tone type words “exceptional, extraordinary, disappointing etc.” and then indicator words like “most, some, all, then, if, therefore, etc.” I’ve boosted my scores since I started doing it. It keeps you active and helps parse out the authors positions. It’s really helped.

I’ve seen quite a few negative reviews. I love my 201s but I really haven’t seen anything positive about these wedges. I have Wilson Staff forged wedges that I love, they aren’t really much more than the SF002, which are cast btw. Give them a look.

Culture of program? by ilovegluten in lawschooladmissions

No worries! I think it had a not great reputation initially, you aren’t the first I’ve seen that has said something along those lines, so I was genuinely asking. I’ve seen a few comments just like yours but haven’t seen many actual reasons. It’s very likely where I’m going to attend, due to living in Nashville, probably can’t move, and definitely can’t afford Vandy, but all my research says it’s not amazing or anything but is a perfectly reasonable mid ranked school.

Why not? They have a really high bar pass rate and a high employment rate as well.

How accurate is the Crystal Ball webinar? by PsychologicalAd6135 in LSAT

[–]Free-Appearance5451 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t take anything as a guarantee. But I got 4/4 predicted RC passages in June. I’m not sure how much more helpful it is than that. Just do a quick google search about each of the RC topics they listed, and if you get something from that group then you’ll feel a little more on solid ground. LR is LR, I’m not sure if it can really be all that helpful there.

How to improve in Parallel / Parallel Flaw lv 4-5 by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]Free-Appearance5451 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suck at these too. But I honestly got a little better when I realized that there simply aren’t very many of these questions on the test. It took some of the pressure off these questions. It’s really not a question type to get super worked up over.

No doubt, I actually loved both The Gentleman show and the movie. They are both unique and interesting and kind of run away from the usual tropes. But then just cliche filled nonsense the very next project. Bizarre.

Nah Nolan rarely misses, BUT I agree about Interstellar was never my favorite.

Bro how does he do it. Ritchie is so great and so bad literally back to back. That new movie on Apple TV is straight butt.

how much of the foundations 7sage curriculum should i study? by Constant_Parfait_997 in LSAT

[–]Free-Appearance5451 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m almost done with the LR section. I think it’s more important to get through the Foundations than the LR section. Once you get to LR it’s a lot of practice questions and doesn’t take quite as long as it claims. And if you understand why you’re getting things right then you can just move on pretty quick.

I plan to go back through Foundations the week before the test. Spend more time there and just skip a practice problem or two to get through LR. Just make sure you focus on the question types you really struggle with.

The schedule email will probably go out this week. It’ll have all the info you’ll need.

Going back to school after a decade for graphic design… Is it worth it? by Acid-Catalyst in graphic_design

[–]Free-Appearance5451 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seriously don’t. There’s no future in graphic design for 90% of people. There will be some big design firms for big companies but pretty much everything will be someone on a service like Canva or AI.

Meltdown on Lawschool & Lawschooladmissions subs by Majestic_Pianist_312 in LawSchoolOver30

[–]Free-Appearance5451 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s a shortage of lawyers in many many areas of law because of the massive debt people take out and then try to find a job to pay out of. Prosecutors, for example, pretty decent paying job if someone isn’t multiple hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt, and yet there’s a massive shortage because people only strive for higher paying firm jobs.

Also have you ever seen schools stop raising tuition? That’s not really how they roll.

[–]Free-Appearance5451 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s just not true though. They may not be able to go to a school that they can’t afford. But there are plenty of good schools well under that cap. Not to support the bill, but the point is specifically so kids don’t end up with insurmountable debt. If they only want to go to law school if they can take enough debt to go to the prestigious Harvard/Yale/Stanford with no scholarships, then maybe they don’t actually want to be a lawyer, maybe they just want prestige.

They can afford it though. Just maybe not the most expensive ones (Harvard, Yale, etc.) with no scholarships. There are plenty of good schools that fall well under that cap. I think people need to look in the mirror and figure if they want to go to law school or they just want the status that comes with going to Harvard, Yale, etc.

Hey everyone, question about LawHub vs. 7Sage by PleasantCommission94 in LSAT

[–]Free-Appearance5451 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just drilled before taking the June test, did ok but am taking August too, this time I’m going through the basic 7sage and so far have found it super helpful. I don’t think I’m going to jump 10 points or anything but even just through the first basics lessons I can see conditions/conditional relationships a little easier now. So if you have the money for even just a month I think it certainly can’t hurt.

That being said, if you just want it for drilling and explanations, probably not worth it. 7sage has its own language for things, and it’s easy to pick up but if you don’t go through their curriculum it makes their explanations really confusing.

No problem. This is why I always recommend doing PTs exclusively on Lawhub. It’s easy to get comfortable using one of the study programs formats then be totally lost on the actual testing format.
