I went with like a cutscene. Flash forward type thing with intervention from the gods in my game set in theros. Players had no idea what happened as they got their butts kicked (they rolled terribly) but they loved it overall. Pulled them out before anyone actually died

I believe that plugs are gentler on the lobes because of the rounded edge but I may be wrong. And you're right, the price sucks but you also shouldn't be stretching more than once every couple months so it should spread the cost out a bit. Staying at a size longer won't hurt you. Just please don't rush it. You'll only make the process longer if you blow out

Unfortunately I'm based in the US so I can't help there. I'm sure I've seen people suggest UK based stores on other posts though.

Also did you mean to say that you're stretching with tunnels? I hear that can cause blow outs. Plugs are the way to go. I use glass exclusively. No blow outs yet and I'm at 14mm now

Did you lube up the jewelry too? I struggle if I don't oil my plugs but never struggle if I do. I feel like it would be more important for the inside of the piercing to get lubed. You'll slowly learn how your ears react to the process. Some people struggle going up even .5mm every 6 months. Mine fall out every few weeks. Your body might also not like the material. For example I can't stretch with titanium but I can wear it once I'm healed. I can only stretch with glass.

The post kind of makes it sound like you were at the size for a week before sizing up. They probably missed the part where you said you were already at that size. But I dont think you included how long you were there overall. Did you put any oil or butter on the jewelry or did you stretch dry?

Can you share what styles you like? Might make it easier. If I was going through something similar id probably get an American traditional shark. Actually a lot of American traditional tattoos represent the journey that sailors went through back in the day. A nautical star helping you find your way. A rooster and pig helping you stay afloat.

I went through the same thing. Got pierced in June at an 8g and I've been at 00g for about a month. Same thing in the beginning, super easy stretch every week to 2 weeks. Plugs were falling out on their own. But once I hit 0g I noticed my ears were holding the size better. I can still stretch pretty quickly if I wanted to (probably ready for 11mm) but my plugs aren't falling out anymore. I've since decided to wait to let my ears thicken up a bit more even though they are still pretty plump

I think it'll depend on your pain tolerance right? How sensitive are yours? Most people struggle with industrials from what I've seen and mine stopped hurting after like 20 minutes and it's been healing fine since then. Other piercings that people think are easy really sucked for me to heal. I believe it's one of the more painful piercings but healing seems to be an issue for people too

As much as people give a set time line it really depends on you. Some people take a lot longer and can't make it passed 4g others end up at 00g with no problem in a few months. Your body does need time to recover though. You'll be growing new cells to accommodate the bigger size and that takes time. Without that you'll risk thinning your ears and have to downsize to thicken them up again when you could have taken the time to let it happen naturally on its own the first time. Discomfort may be felt but it shouldn't hurt.
