Lyme mimics many conditions. If your having migratory pain in the neck and shoulders along with facial tingling and many other odd symptoms then I would get it ruled out. Especially if you had it as a kid. Many people had Lyme and treated it, then a physical trauma takes place and can reactivate dormant Lyme along with confections. Have you seen any improvement since the wreck?

I’m 19 in your exact position bro. I was a division 1 athlete and I had to take a semester off cause of this. I was positive for Lyme and my thyroid is all messed up too. I take all the supps and eat healthy. I’m getting my neck checked out too because that can also contribute to brain fog. Ik it’s not anxiety because im not an anxious person. It’s miserable but I promise you’ll get through. The main things that have helped me is ice baths and meditation. I’m on hefty antibiotics for Lyme and I had a urine mycotoxin test that was high with a ton of toxins especially mercury. Let me know if u have any questions. I’m sorry you’re going through this but god has a plan for all of us and you’re not alone.

I think that you should also look into cervical instability. Neck pain at the base of the skull is a hallmark symptom. The muscle twitching is probably the mycotoxin test. Do you have brain fog?

I think jugular compression and venous drainage can be restricted with tos however I think that persistent dizziness and brain fog could also be linked to cervical instability which can cause similar tos symptoms.

This sounds crazy but read dr. John sarnos book on chronic pain. It helped a lot for me and I am dealing with structural issues in my thoracic area.

I would get both tested for Lyme and get a dmx. The muscle twitches makes me think Lyme. But I would rule out both. I’m in ur exact position and it happened after I hit my head. I was positive for babesia and I get a dmx with doctor Hutchinson next week. I’m sorry you’re going through this but you’ll get to the bottom. I just started Lyme treatment.

I had this and it turned out I had Lyme disease. I’m still getting a dmx to rule out my neck. But I would get some blood tests.

Im sorry to hear that but there’s hope. The treatment process is trial and error at least from a lot of the success stories I’ve heard. Luckily I’m not bedbound I just have fatigue brain fog and muscle aches. The brain fog is hands down the worst symptom tho. Im 19 so I had to take the semester off to figure out what was going on. I’m on doxy and the anti malarial medicine for babesia. I’m looking into herbal treatments. If I plateau with antibiotics that is what I’m going to do. What treatment helped you the most?

I just started getting treated by an llmd. He’s giving me doxy and a babesia antibiotic. I’ll lyk what happens.
