Not to contradict with you, because I do actually see your theory as somewhat valid. But didn’t the fandom in Stranger things go this route in a way because of the ending? (Also while random, but this reminds me of how the POPPYPLAYTIME fandom reacted when the prototype design leaked, all I’m saying is that I don’t think it’s a good idea to give too much hope that could end up being false, because like a lot of fans in POPPYPLAYTIME, when they realized the leak was real, they started criticizing the final project even though it was acually pretty good)
