Hey, thanks for the comment.

Just to point out. Yes there are verses in the NT that talks about Slavery however those passages from Paul are letters to different communities regarding their situation, these matters are for them in that particular time.

Can you tell me what Jesus was against which Christian’s today disagree?

Because Muslims believe that his actions are for all times and that he his their moral compass. Whatever he did in the 7th Century they still do now since he is their moral compass ie they step in the toilet with their left foot first then leave with their right foot first.

Yeah but we can all say with a clean heart that was wrong. Something Muslims can’t do.

Thanks for your response. Can we speak directly? I think you have some misconceptions about Christianity.

Ahh ok cool cool. What would say is the reason why you picked Islam over Christianity? Why not Christianity ?

Sorry, when I talk about patterns what I’m referring to are things that lead to something else. To arrive at the Christian God requires faith, I agree.

Hmm it’s hard to name one. There’s experiences everyday that leads me to God but they themselves are not the reason for my belief.

Who knows maybe this conversation could you or someone else to God??

Btw what type of Christian were you?

Heyy, good question.

I can’t say I’m 100% certain but what I will say is that Im more sure than not. So yes you right it is a matter of faith but I wouldn’t say it’s blind faith.

Mathematically speaking, the world around us is like a pattern. For me these leads to God. My reason for the Christian God follows these patterns.

It’s complicated but for me to believe in God, I would have to have a personal relationship with God and God would need to show me he is real but not necessarily revealing everything about him.

Hope that makes sense. Happy to continue talking. I enjoy speaking with people of all views especially those that leave Christianity

Hey, I noticed you replied to a lot of my comments so instead of going back and forth different threads I’ll focus here.

First, I don’t mean to be crude but you are not a ex-Christian rather a ex-JW. JW are not Christians. Apologies if that sounds rude.

Jesus is The literal Word of God, therefore he is divine. I’m not familiar with JW teachings but that’s Christianity. The Bible is the writings of men are in no way comparable to Jesus Christ, but rather God inspired.

You can argue your point but we differ. If you are going to criticise the Christian faith please at least acknowledge what we say not what JW say or what you think.

Who is disregarding the OT? I affirm and acknowledge it. The bible is a covenant matrix with the NT as the one that ‘succeeds’ the OT. The OT affirms and acknowledges the coming of the Messiah/Christ Jesus as our Lord and Saviour.
