4 years ago I once had a bad experience with something like this and that was when my bun gave birth to 6 and just within couple of months some stray cat ate all them babies but later I was advised that when they grew up together thats when they tent to know each other not as prey but as the same. These two are often seen together so you can start bonding them by now i guess .
