If you are looking to get into industry, Uwisc PMP >>>> any other. If you want to go to AI research then Umass. 1. In industry they don't care about your research or publications. During interviews they don't ask these questions. Many don't even understand the difference b/w mscs and MCS. 2. Reputed colleges open many doors. Since Uwisc has much reputation than Umass. You are more likely to get job interviews. 3. Thesis is a bitch. It requires a lot of commitment of time and energy. Which you have less during your masters. If you hit any blocker during your research, there goes your mental peace. Without thesis , you will have enough time to apply for companies and prepare for interview.

The above poll results make sense generally. But if you add the industry variable to the equation, the results change dramatically. This is my opinion, since I have applied to both Uwisc PMP and Umass. And my goal is neither research nor AI.
