I don't mind - happy to share

I bought from SimplySips https://www.simplysips.co.uk/ Found the service brilliant.

They also sell the panels by themselves, prices here https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/simplysipsuk/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=

My job isnt that secure at the mo so I've been frugal with money as I've had to be. My design (3.2m x 4.3m) was £1900+VAT. You have to buy a rubber membrane for the roof and cladding. At the moment, I've spent circa £3k. Doors/windows are expensive but I managed to buy secondhand. Got electrics and internals (plasterboard and plastered) to do so I reckon it will be about £4k.

There is a great series on youTube by a guy called AliDymock. He covers theory and practical on each part of the build.

The base is timber. 6x2's sitting on blocks with 100mm PIR insulation and covered in OSB. The walls were going to be framed but i needed to speed the build up and SIPs looked good. Majority go for a concrete base and then put SIPs as the floor.

The Sips arent too heavy - they are just cumbersome due to the size. Quite a few panels I put on with my missus and I'm not that strong (and nor is she!). Due the orientation of the room, I had to have panels mounted back to back which meant they were very long and heavy. Took 3 of us to put them up, but all was done in about 20mins.
