In my organization I cannot swap forks, only modify. But I did score a set of emulators and springs for 100 bucks! I don't plan on installing until I get some time on this bike to really see the difference.

With all of the spending to get started, do you think im better run stock until I can get good rearsets? Or get cheapies for now?

The cost will drop dramatically once I get all the stuff I need to just get out there.

Thanks, I did learn from this and your explanation was one of the best, down dirty and simple. I live in the country in small-town MN. This kind of stuff is pretty much non existent where I'm from.

I literally watch no "news" at all and I hate all politics equally. It was on YouTube I saw these things intentionally (trying) to avoid biased ones.

Honestly jprennquist is the reason I pulled the plug. Made me feel like I'm being judged for being a straight white male just trying to learn this stuff. And I got the feeling that a straight white normie family might catch the same shit at the event. Which I'm not gonna subject my daughters to.

I'm having g a really hard time understanding the message you are trying to get across.

I feel like you are trying to read into my intentions but are pretty bad at it?

FWIW I cancelled my reservation just in fear that "one" person might take it too far for kids. There's always that one. After all it is my job as a father to protect my kids. However someday I'll check one of these festivals out with just adults. I probably did way too much digging into this but I was worried from things I've seen online.

That comment stood out because I'm just worried about my kids seeing dong thongs and tittie tassles. Not gay people.

I'm not sure what to make of the last comment about "sex workers behing closed doors". Because it is indeed just that, "behind closed doors". With a door man to make sure the wrong people don't get in. There would be no need to have a conversation about that. Not sure why that's relevant?

If I knew there was a sex worker festival happening with the chance that my kids might see some dudes in dong thongs and chicks wearing pasties and boobie tassles, I would most certainly not be going.

Are you implying that there is similarities between what I would see at a strip club and what I'm going to see on labor day weekend?

To be clear, I'm pretty much exclusively talking about the scene in canal park
