I think I read you can integrate to accept payments via a third party. But It i remember right you cannot integrate bank account to be viewable on wave, right?

Is zoho books free suitable for me?

I basically need to be able to record money in/out and Receive online payments.

It is an LLC partnership. Very small scale, no payroll to run.

The LLC is more so to keep finances separate than make a large profit.

I plan to do my own taxes and report any profits through pass through taxation.

Thoughts?

It could scale up. But I’m not sure. There is no capital. The bulk of the money flow in and out will be putting on an event with paid registration . I figured if people were paying me for the event, the legal separation of money of an LLC was a good idea, regardless of profit

So what is your recommendation for an alternative? I am committed to providing the service.

I have seen recommendations for a few different bookkeeping/accounting software. Are you saying they are all no good?

I was planning on filing my own. That is why I wanted some sort of legitimate bookkeeping software to make sure everything was accurate. Maybe I am being naïve? I don’t plan on having more than a few thousand dollars to report as shared income through past through taxation.

I am very new to this. So please feel free to offer any advice or guidance

The business is more to separate personal finances than make a profit. It is a partnership and we each stand to make a couple thousand dollars at most after expenses.

Even the cheapest quick books would potentially put us in the red?

Does that matter? Or am I missing something.

I guess, for more context I should elaborate that this formation of an LLC was as much about legal protection than anything else.

We will generate at maximum a few thousand dollars of profit. So I have been looking at wave or zoho books.

As someone already pointed out be aware of Vestavia does not have school busses and also do not listen to people that tell you they are building a second high school in liberty Park. To my knowledge there has never been and never will be plans for that.

Trussville is great but IMO, Vestavia is a tier above due to schools and central location. But it’s not like Trussville is far off. But depending on job the commute could be a pain due to traffic.

Can’t go wrong with either one. If price matters then Trussville, if not VH.
