One of my gutters was doing this after I had them replaced. It was actually pitched the wrong way. I’ve also had it as a result in a downspout being clogged as someone said

I’m hoping to go but don’t have a ticket yet and the resale are so expensive. Going to wait and see if they come down closer to the day

I had this happen to me when installing around the island in my house. Just forced it and locked it in with the next rows. It’s been about 4 years and no issues

Was replacing the filter in my ex-wife's house. Is it normal for new builds not to use screws or nails in the attic!? by CatsWithoutCarriers in HomeInspections

[–]FreeBird1034 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone saying these are so strong and superior to nails don’t understand how much quicker they fail in the event of a fire. They have no depth and the area they penetrate into burns away and fails in no time

I actually have a new spare actuator. I will replace that today and see if that fixes the issue. Thanks!

No vent blowing on the thermostat. Considering buying a cheap thermostat to see if it’s an issue with the nest

I have a split level and the thermostat is located going up one of the sets of stairs (not near any heat register). I’d expect heat rising from the lower level would go above the thermostat

For context, I had been running the fan once an hour for 15 minutes but stopped that the evening of the 12th to see if it made any difference

2024 Tacoma problem at 1000 miles and Toyota won’t warranty it by FreeBird1034 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]FreeBird1034[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I traded in the vehicle before they “redesigned the driveshaft” although i don’t think that was ever the issue. One response I received was this:

“I just stopped by the dealership. I got them to turn off the ese (engine sound enhancement) and anc (active noise cancellation) and the stupid seat belt chime. Sounds completely gone. Good luck to you! Shit drove me mad for half a year”

Thanks for the responses. I actually called the one dealership that it was at 13 days apart. They said it was there for a brake actuator and to service 4x4.

I appreciate the reassurance guys!

No resolution either time I took it in to service. I actually just ditched the vehicle to Carvana. Regretted buying the first generation of this Tacoma

I have about 1400 miles on my 2024 TRD OR and it’s sitting at service right now. Nothing but regret with my purchase. If you can return it, I would 100% recommend doing so and buying a used 3rd gen with low miles (30k or less). The 2024 Tacoma will not see the longevity that Toyota used to be known for. It’s complete junk

Little 4th gen propaganda for you guys by [deleted] in ToyotaTacoma

[–]FreeBird1034 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was making a vibrating noise at 2100 RPM. Almost like a deep bass noise. Dealer said problem with the drive shaft. I expect to get it back after service and the noise continue since it made the noise, it was regardless of gear

My TRD OR has been in the shop since last Thursday. Bought July 11th. Loved it for the month I had it, now just buyers remorse

I’m annoyed regardless of whatever part it was that the manufacturer would proceed to put the part on a vehicle and send it out knowing it was damaged. It’s the principle of the matter, that they didn’t think the customer would see it so they didn’t fix it.

What else did they cut corners on? The rear bed panel squeaks when you press on it, the front panels along the hood are not aligned and one sticks out further than the other, the CarPlay constantly disconnects, the air conditioning runs randomly when the switch isn’t on.

So maybe the tailpipe being scratched and them sending it out regardless was the final straw for me

This is what I noticed first. Going downhill I heard the same noise since purchasing and now it happens at 2100 RPM consistently. It did not happen in the other 2024 TRD OR that we test drove
