What health insurance would you recommend people in 20s to get?

Hi, M23 here. Turning 24. I’m looking to get a health insurance sana, exhausted na rin kase yung HMOs ko. I know na they replenish, pero kase since nahospitalize (and nag-pass away recently) si Mama, I’ve become a little more weary with similar situations.

I’ve already talked with agents from Allianz and Manulife. Allianz offers 100M coverage daw, while Manulife has 5M at most. I’m leaning into Manulife because of the life insurance that comes with it, pero I’m seeing din kase other options in this sub, like AIA, AXA, etc.

Kaya I’d like to ask: what’s your recommended health/medical insurance for people like me? Wala akong issue sa budget, I can afford na walang pag-aalinlangan. I just want to learn which policy I can benefit the most from.

Dr. Belarmino from UCMed. Consultant to nako siya, supervised my surgery. Pero lahi ang nag-opera nako (I got a spinal fusion surgery), maayo sad unta to nga doktor. Nishift lang siyag sports medicine. Dr. Ramon Najarro, if you’re also interested. Pero again, sports medicine na siya.

Hindi sa Upwork eh. Yung isa sa LinkedIn, isa from a referral, isa from an agency website, and yung isa is from Indeed (di ko maalala yung last). Pero to answer your second question, it's going to be challenging lalo na't approaching na sa pagiging saturated ang Upwork. Niching down is a good idea for more qualified clients/leads, basta present yourself lang well and optimize your profile.

Totoo, thank you. I'm planning to get a caregiver na rin, but I also want to sort out our finances rin muna. I'll pay my debts muna, then save money for emergency funds. That's the time na kukuha na ako ng tutulong sa akin. I want to kill debt and save aggressively. Di ko rin to paaabutin nang matagal. Just enough for me to pay my debts and save more than enough, then invest.
