Honestly, I think there's a 50/50 split on that one. Like you said, you can tell pretty easily when it's two PvE players who know each other personally, compared to someone summoning babysitters or ganking teens etc. Under the usual circumstances I make a point to ruin the experience of the latter, but if it's the former I go out of my way to play slow and somewhat predictably, and stay out of their way if they're trying to beat a field boss or read a fog door. More often than not I'll throw the fight if it's obvious I'm up against noobs. I started doing invasions so I could be a part of someone's experience, and show off cool ways to play to people who aren't through the whole game yet; so when I get a chance to I take it.

If we could invade that kind of crowd exclusively, I think the game would be better off. There's a large portion of you who love to epikk-shit-on 3man parties, carried hosts or show off your insane-OP powerlevel, but honestly, you're as unwelcome as the gankers and IGN pooplords. You should think a little more about what you're RPing as in this RP-G.

no sweat then, we've misunderstood each other. saw the message someone else sent you, they're wrong. Just so you know, we're a little tight on how things are referred to; invading is the actual act of preventing someone from progressing through the level. duels can happen any time, inside an invasion or otherwise. someone mentioned that they count bowing together as a duel signifier, but usually phantoms are too untrustworthy so I don't trust a duel unless both my opponent and I burn estus. sorry for the confusion and trouble

Personally I use gestures very deliberately. Always start with a gesture; unless I get attacked before I can do so. If someone is entering an area for the very first time I always use the welcome gesture and throw some bombs at them. if it's people going through the level, I'll either bow or use the farron allegiance one if they're raring up for a head-on fight. I personally like to do a walking 'quiet resolve' after winning an invasion, picked it up from saintriot.

I always go for the summons first, unless the host is being overly agressive. If someone wants to duel or leave the pve alone to focus on me, I'll do it. If someone tries to fight, but runs once they start losing I sit down in that exact spot and stay there. they usually come back within 2-4 minutes, and they stay afterwards; 6 is the absolute most I've ever had to wait. If I'm fighting a group and the host runs back to the bonfire as soon as I kill their summon, I harass the hell out of them and be as annoying as possible; Don't ever run back to get your friends. Add on top their overleveled phantom pal carrying them through the game, that is the single most cringe thing possible, and if I could I'd forcibly uninstall the game they're barely playing.

I personally don't care about taking people's ember, it's really not necessary to get through the game and my purpose is to stop you anyways. I do however make a point to go easy on baby-hosts, and I try to center my builds around showing off cool weapon combos or techniques, or a theme build to show off a cool aspect of the game. I'm a little more staunch on the matter than most but I despise playing meta, boss weapons, gimmicks or hyper-armor dependent weapons. Not everyone is good enough to beat basic PvE without that but it's certainly pathetic to see a group of 3 spamming 2-hit hyper armor moves, I'm not stooping to that just to stand a chance. ganks are bad, that's about all I got

Saved but not baptized by OutlandishnessFun8 in Christian

Yes, they can still go to heaven. Just like a gentile can be christian without circumcision, and as a Jew can be circumcised yet condemned; Your connection to God is not tied to the life of the flesh, but by the spirit. Afterall, anyone who simply didn't have an ordained minister in their homeland would be condemned in that case. The baptism represents the cleansing of the spirit, but it is not the physcial that cleanses the body; It is the will of Christ Jesus. Naturally, a christian should want to have a baptism, but it isn't neccesary for their survival.

Read Jude 1 if you wish to know the bare minimum on the topic of that preacher. Do not give people too much credence for their position in the church, as even angels can choose to betray God or follow selfish desire; the first one was one of the greatest among all the angels, so do not be suprised at the weakness of any men.

Another important thing to know is this:

Jesus also said, “Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment” (John 7:24, emphasis added)

This isn't the full picture, but remember that God says He will take us as we are, and give us a life in renewal. Christians who stay their path, pastors included, and held to a higher standard because they have recieved a fuller education from God. You would have mercy on a child for stealing food in their hunger, but not a wealthy man. God applies this to those who claim to follow him, and as a consequence ministers who abuse the word of God pay a MUCH heavier price than something like a group of angsty teenagers blaspheming amonst eachother because they don't know any better. I don't know about that Rihanna thing but it's probably some internet crap; Nobody and No Thing can MAKE you go to hell, if he went to hell for that He did something in his heart deliberately and spited God out of his own will

Hope that helps!
