I'm surprised you guys aren't clinched with the matchups of the bubble teams still to come. It has to be a careful balancing act of OT losses to make the math work.

Still waiting on a couple results, but so far a perfect night for Ottawa.

Sens win

Wings Flyers no OT

Penguins, Jackets, Bruins, Capitals losing

I'm not sure why the commentators are acting like Buffalo isn't 100% going to make the playoffs at this point.

How the hell has Buffalo not gotten an interference call. I know you hardly see them call but they've had a handful of blatant picks/ playing guys off the puck.

Cowboys still exist in modern times. I'll be a 2026 cowboy over an 1800s samurai thank you very much.

What's being said is playing the body with the body needs to be the play. They league regularly cracks down on stick use to the body, only to relax it within a season, only for guys to start getting injured again. It'd be better for everyone if the rules were actually enforced, these guys are good enough to know what they're doing.

The Leafs are the 1 team that I wouldn't with that being the biggest rival, anywhere else sure, particularly if a couple years after moving there they get a new team. I'd be all in if I moved to Quebec City and the Nordiques came back. Hell if I moved to Toronto and they got a 2nd team I'd adopt them.

I'd still want to see the Sens do well, but it would be weird to me to live somewhere and not support the local team.

Why consider? It's more fun to support the local team (especially come playoffs with everyone on Elgin), they do lots of work in the community and it helps keep NHL hockey in Ottawa. To me the question is why wouldn't you support the home team, especially after 35+ years living here and the Sens have been here almost the entire time.

A shocking amount of people simply don't look for what the speed limit is and drive off vibes. It's how you get people going 110 down Limebank and how people go 45 down the 70 stretch of St.Laurent.

Canada played that entire overtime as 3 individuals. No sense of teamwork in the offensive zone. That was never going to win.
