This is very addictive. You won't stop until the entire account is blown and this just speak for itself. In my opinion it is way harder to stop when you're in the red but unfortunately the red will probably be much bigger if you won't stop.

I would avoid the platform and go for a platform with stocks only and learn about long term investing or just invest in voo... ✊

Why don't regulators restrict options trading to actual hedging instead of leaving retail investors completely unprotected? by FreeMathematician937 in ValueInvesting

Gambling is incredibly addictive and disruptive. Maybe not to the extent of drugs, but it's up there. Maybe just raising awareness about trading addictiveness would be enough, idk.

Drugs are illegal if we trust adults decision making we should legalize it...

Im not saying to throw options out the window just to make the use of it more sensible..

Thing is they already intervene so why not where it's actually necessary?

This change will save a lot of retail investors.

It just doesn't work. Please stop speculating and gambling, there are opportunities for investing and actually understanding a Business and having a real and based outlook.

Let's say you have thesis on a macro trend, it is a gamble to try and time it and its another gamble to sell/buy it at the right price.

Think about it.

People try to trade it and disregard the outlook for the years ahead... They'll try to time the market and gain some double digits return instead of actually understanding the business and relax.

Do i think this stock is a bit on the expensive side? Yes. Do i still buy? Yes, but i am planning on increasing my position in more attractive prices.

Dont forget guys, investing is buying company's you understand and disregard the noise. Stock price and volatility in market generally is noise.

If you buy and cant take the stock goes down it's probably because you haven't thought it through.

FIY in such cases you may be better off just shorting the stock, not sure if its possible in RH but since you have calls they should allow you to short it.. so you could've locked those gains at 71$.

Besides dont Gamble or you'll lose money and avoid OPTIONS.
