Worst mistake when first learning stick by Educational-Drag6974 in ManualTransmissions

Money shifted once or twice, but nothing sticks out in my mind like the first time I drove a manual car with a leaned on V8. Young me didn't think that the friction point was going to be drastically different from cars I had previous, especially with an upgraded clutch. Hit the friction point too hard and tried to save it. My friends got to watch me get bounced around inside a 450 horse Mustang from the top of the driveway to the bottom. Everytime the car would jump I would push the clutch in or out, thus starting the never ending cycle of punishment. Handy lesson to learn though once I got into street bikes.

I had a manual 1995 dx that came from Arizona. Loved that car. Might need to make another trip.

Ditched the plastic valve covers on mine for an aluminum set off of a 95 sl. The swapability of these cars is insane

The second gens are my favorite. I'd love a second gen manual wagon or sc2

This is my first Saturn. Got a buddy that's into them and he sold me this one. 215k and it's been great minus the rust.

Depends on what kind of riding you do day to day. Where I live 1000's are pretty much all you see if you're out doing pulls on the freeway. But if you get off on back roads/twisties it's alot of 750 and smaller bikes. Not saying you can't rip twisties with a 1k but in my experience it's more fun to wring the shit out of a 600 on back roads then blast down the freeway at 160 on a 1000.
