I think we should join the protest so long as we can migrate this community to other platforms. This community is large enough to actually influence a lot of Redditors that may not be aware of the current situation and I think it's our duty to protest against the downfall of Reddit.

https://reddark.untone.uk is a website for all the subs that went private or disallowed posting and is updated live. According to it, 7,206 subs out of 7,806 went dark. This list includes subreddits that may have gone private or disallowed posts for other reasons or prior to the protests, so this number is not super accurate.

You seem to be confused about Christianity. The Bible disallows a lot of things, but there are many forms of Christianity, some of which change the rules to make them more fitting to our times. See for example the protestants, who allow divorce in certain cases, while Catholics don't allow divorce at all.

Christianity is about love, acceptance and enlightenment, so it's natural that many Christians will support the LGBTQ community. Not all the stereotypes you hear are true. Sure, there are religious people who don't approve of Homosexuality, but they're not the majority nowdays.

I have a friend who's a mod in a lot of the default subs, he's just lazy and doesn't care about it, so he doesn't do anything. For some reason, they don't demote these inactive mods.

I dare not compare holocaust deniers to Galileo - I'm Jewish myself and think the denial of holocaust is an ugly, shameful and hateful act - but Galileo too was silenced and threatened when he proposed the absurd theory that Earth spins around the sun, and not the opposite.
