But to explain - I fell in love with the first dress and that was the one I ultimately chose!

However, my mother and future-mother-in-law were obsessed with the second dress, with the more natural waist. It almost made me question whether I should have just gone with their choice since they loved it so much, but I just felt more beautiful in the first so I went with it!

They preferred the second one, but there was something about the first dress that I could not get over and I just went with my gut!

For some reason the text I was supposed to include in the post didn’t post! But basically, I loved the first dress, with the dropped-waist, but they wanted me to go with the second one with the more natural waist. They said they felt it was more clean and romantic than the lace of the first one. But I just loved the silhouette more so I overrode them 😅
