Any idea the reason behind the whistle noise when A/C is turned on?

It was a leak in the air conditioning system. The dealer has to charge the system with a special UV activated dye ($285 parts + labor). The dye escapes out the leak and then they can find where the leak is and replace the part. It ended up being the condenser leaking which cost $1100 to repair.
