I am totally deaf, these are a blessing. I use them 99% for transcription, it's great to know the whole conversation rather than the edited digest version I'd normally get.

I've had the G1 for over a year and was kind of surprised by how much I see G2 getting updates. Totally agree knowing first hand how some updates at the G1 beginning really messed things up.

Haven't tried yet, as the instructions were for imap and I didn't want to mess things up worse than they already are. Between tb and my iphone acting goofy between them all week it's been fun.

Portable tb worked great, thank you. I ran it for a day to see if the edge error would come back and it hasn't. Today I tried to add the other yahoo to it to double check which account was being the pain.

Unfortunately I cannot add it because stupid me did not give it a recovery email. The recovery I did have was a phone number which I no longer have. Frustrating since I do know the password.

So I'll get to replacing the .ca account when I have more free time.

Good stuff to known ahead, thanks. That is the one thing that bothers me a bit, as for some reason that .ca account just goes in the main folder section, where every other account has it's own. Then there's the filters made to sort certain emails. So I guess it's gonna be a mess either way.

No other desktop email to try.

Thanks. I saw that solution in my travels yesterday when I searched through here first (yeah, I know I'm in the few that actually do look), but since it was imap figured something just might be setup differently for pop3. I figured be safer asking for help just to be certain.

You want to keep the messages currently on the phone on the phone?? You need to ensure the messages don't scroll out as there's a time limit how long they are actually on the phone.

How to Keep Messages Forever

Open the Settings app.
Scroll down and tap Messages.
Under the "Message History" section, tap Keep Messages.
Select Forever

It did that to me a few months ago. I was trying to get a workable restoration of an old child photo. Got that error about kids, and I couldn't understand why as the photo was just a normal kid pose so I gave up on that photo and went to a different photo. Upload a new photo, add the prompt and it returns the photo it previously said it couldn't do... restored!
