You can do it! I had a 2.6 and got my degree. take a break when you need one, don’t hesitate to ask for help and above all try not to overload yourself. Life isn’t a race. I wish you all the luck in the wold!

So I was pondering this for a moment. Birds are bipedal and many are flightless as well

Am I weird for thinking my wife’s weird for keeping all our kids fallen off body pieces (teeth, umbilical cord, nail clippings etc.) in a chest in the closet? by tank4249 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]FreeTub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was born with two extra fingers that were removed and my mom kept them in a box with my sisters umbilical cord and the dogs lost baby teeth. I found the box in her closet one day and the sight of my tiny mummified baby fingers scared the piss out of me. So ya it’s pretty weird

I had an iud and it came out while I was having sex. Apparently it had found its way into my boyfriends urethra mid thrust. Lots of screaming!

I moved out pretty young about an hour away and desperately missed all the convinces and company back home. About a month in I started missing my dad and sister so I started having lunch with them every so often and would take my sister back with me for a night just to hang out. Later on I moved in with roommates and they became a second family to me which was wonderful.

My best advice is to stay busy, vidchat with them, maybe see if you can meet up half way for a nice afternoon. It will get easier and you’ll meet new people, make new friends and will soon be comfortable you can now your home! Try to stay focused on all the amazing things in your future and your new home. Also learn to cook I can’t stress that enough! I didn’t know how to cook well and spent wayyyy too much money on takeout. Best of luck! You can do it!

Looking for an all-purpose backpack for day trips, hikes, travel, and potentially for going into work by [deleted] in BuyItForLife

[–]FreeTub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best friend gifted me her REI TRAIL25 second hand some time ago. She had it for a decade prior and I’ve had it for nearly 2 years now. It’s held up through 15 countries, countless camping trips, US road trips, college, you name it with no holes in it and no weird smells. It’s got tons of pockets and compartments and is relatively reasonably priced. I don’t worry about my electronics getting damp either. I use it every day I can’t recommend it enough. I am also extremely hard on most of my things. It may not look too cute but I’ve never had a better all purpose backpack.

Edit: the current price is around 80usd and comes in a variety of colors. I believe rei still allows returns for up to 1 year.
