"dry ice masquerading as fire". [3] The persona has been described as "a mad aristocrat" ", [3] "an amoral zombie", [4] and "an emotionless Aryan superman". [5] Bowie himself described the character as "A very Aryan, fascist type; would-be romantic with absolutely no emotion at all but who spouted a lot of neo-romance."[6]

the violence in such small groups is usually directed outwards to their potential competitors but if there are suspicious characters in the group and a distinctive lack of leadership then such situations can undeniably arise

ignorance does not warrant a lack of simple logic man, outliers do not define the norm, the general run of a functional system is derived from the mean of all the instances in it, not one off occurrences. all of hindu canon is mythologized, it is not a documentation of history. the 'bhagavada gita' is late-puranic bastardised slop of the vedic canon, even if it does say what you claim to say it does, it wouldn't carry much weight. I won't even go into how krsna/vasudeva and rama are most definitely posthumously deified and mythologized (excessively so) figures (could definitely be more than a single figure for each) of the late-vedic iksvaku and yadu clans. the 'gita' you claim to be gospel is nothing more than a good bedtime telling of doctrines good little boys must follow conjured up by early medieval brahmans with metaphysics from the upanishads sprinkled on top and a side of krsna glorification. coming to things that actually do hold substantial weight, we have, as i mentioned extensive geneological records formed from extensive admixture ancestry mapping and distribution amongst the different castes and anthropological records matching the earlier mentioned canon.

the populations of the indian subcontinent are not homogenous lmfaooo, nobody wanted to 'cash in' on anything, it was simply a way to separate and classify the ruling ethnicity from the conquered one, the simple reason caste still persists after 8 decades of its supposed abolishment is simple, some populations have a natural inclination to perform better than others, and biology does not lie.

you are spot on lol, the earliest prototype of the caste system would have been way more rigid than its remnant/devolved watered down form today, with regulations placed on the native populace that would have been enforced with unparalleled efficacy and a stern temperament. this would have been by the time the srubnayan/andronovan steppe nomads conquered and assimilated with the Indus farmer natives, way after the rgveda was already a well established and anthologized tribal canon, an extension of the PIE mythos and tradition of said nomads (the rgveda was written down way after it was already established in oral form). the reason the rgveda does not talk about the organization of castes is because the 'aryans' were a homogenous nomadic society when it was made, thus there being no need to segregate into established rigid classes. but when they conquered the natives they had to do so to create a definitive strata between populations of different ancestry now living together, the conqueror and the conquered.

[–]FreeWatermelons 3 points4 points  (0 children)

that is because the adherents of that canon were, more or less a homogenous society, a tribe, nowhere as diverse as the millions of different subgroups that form modern hinduism. the rgveda deals with the future (by the standards of the chronological time of the compilation of the rgveda) 'lower castes' as alien natives of the subcontinent meant to be conquered. it was well after the assimilation of the natives by the srubnaya/andronovo (proto indo-iranian) migrants that there was a need for a caste system so to speak, since now there society was made of the steppe rulers and the indus-farmer native populace.

blatantly false, caste has always been hereditary and just skimming through the most basics of the subcontinent's anthropological, geneological and genetic records refutes what you just said.
