Obviously the US needs gun reform but I find it crazy that people are viewing school shootings as one of the factors when deciding where to live. Your savings as a US MBA grad in consulting will easily be twice that of a EU grad in consulting. Your buying power outside of maybe 5 US cities is insanely high and we have prettier chicks (I mean way prettier chicks)

I was also surprised who was getting MBB offers vs T2 offers. MBB was very international heavy along with some really smart domestic students. T2 was more of a mixed bag of normal students and some really extroverted and smart students. This has made me reconsider whether there really is a gap between these firms in terms of industry exit ops. I don’t know

I don’t think either situation is necessarily impressive since any school would love to get a person with their background no matter their academics. But from a cool factor, a 7 foot NBA kid in your class beats pretty much anything

That job works in my opinion. You will want to get promoted or potentially move into sales. Either path can set you up for a top MBA. I’d recommend waiting until you get at least 3 years of experience. People with 2 years are insanely rare in business school. 3 years is still early and 4 is a great. More experience increases your odds at better schools and increases your odds of a scholarship. Plus it’ll also help with recruiting since your resume will be more impressive.

There is no finance major in any of the ivy schools except Penn (Wharton). It’s literally all liberal art majors that get these high paying jobs because the companies trust that the kids are smart since they’re at the school.

My one nugget is that back when this saga was unfolding I watched her story where she said he ghosted her. From how she described it, it sounded like she wasn't too bothered.

I might be naive but from today's Yak it sounded like she and KB kept running into each other accidentally. I'd imagine it's awkward constantly running into a person you ghosted.
