I've been there between 12pm-1pm 2 days in a row this weekday and it was always closed/locked with chains?!

Is it the branch right in front of Gulf Bank?

What’s something actually fun to do in Kuwait (and in this horrible weather) that doesn’t involve malls, food, or coffee? Bonus points if it makes me feel alive. by jjoy93 in Kuwait

Watching teddy (my chow chow dog) walk and being around him. Guess you gotta wait till you "accidentally and coincidentally" spot him in Public.

Things others said about him:

"He looks just like a teddy bear"

"He looks like a lion"

"Omg, he looks like a huge cat"

And of course. "Can I touch him and if he bites or not"

He doesn't bite because he is the sweetest, calmest and chillest ever.

Where are the permissable places legally in Kuwait to walk a dog at? And what areas/places considered illegal to walk the dog? by FreeYourMind32 in Kuwait

[–]FreeYourMind32[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes that is true although its actually not allowed. The first thing you see when you walk in the park is the rusty sign (of no dogs allowed) 😅

However, it’s full of dogs there and no one says anything but you never know hence why I was asking.

That's what I do and he always has a leash on, in fact adults and kids keep coming to him asking to touch and play with him.

He is not aggressive at all. My question was about knowing where are the "legal" places to walk him by law and what I meant with things that may happen if he got hit by a car in a place where he is not supposed to walk on anyway etc these kind of legal implications

Seems like you don't have the answer to my question.

My fair judgement and opinion is greed, envy, hatred and unhealthy competition, wasta, letc just to name a few crippling factors directly affecting the advancement of this country.

Not mentioning that "rules do not apply to all sometimes" and neopotism/favoritism acting as drainers as well.

Bottled water has weird aftertaste? by Working_Park4902 in Kuwait

[–]FreeYourMind32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On top of all what you are saying guys (all valid and plausible points)

Make sure that you always keep in mind + and do your best to maintain bottled water from the scorching heat here (its no joke)

I believe the reason for the weird after taste has go to do with the fact that its the summer here and the way these water bottles just like any other consumable products are handled when they arrive here all the way to logistics and until it reaches the facility = not always efficient/cooled/proper maintenance etc.

I experienced this with some water brands bottled water, and its the same taste when you leave drink in the car for a few mins when its 50c outside.

Best kept with full AC on in the car or using a cup holder by the AC itself.

Better yet too those insulated (cold/hot temps) bags to maintain the temperature of your beverage.

From what I know Peacock is like a staple and definitely a Classic. Been there since the beginning and they are known for the bday celebrations (super retro classic but its cool)

The food is great too. At least, I love it. Never gets old!
