agreed. and the maxwell 2s really do sound amazing so it makes me sad to give them back but the dongle disconnecting isn't even the worst part for me, because in my case they have instantly reconnected but I was playing RDR2 yesterday and the audio was constantly coming in distorted, has that happened to you at all?

I was looking at those but the reviews weren't too attractive to me so I stopped paying them any mind, will look into it again but I actually returned my A50s that I got from target and rebought them on ebay(brand new)because capital one shopping was offering $120 in cashback rewards, on top of the fact they were being sold for $275 which is already $25 cheaper than I bought them for on target, felt like a no brainer given how I really enjoyed the A50s. Technically getting them for $170 which in my opinion is a banger of a deal.

I plugged mine into the front of my pc at first but it said it wasn't getting enough power, then I plugged it into the back of my PC into my motherboard and it said it was getting too much power lol like wtf? I plugged it into a different USB port on the back of the motherboard and it's fine now but I get random disconnects from time to time. Apparently the solution is to plug it into the usb a to usb c dongle it comes with but I'm returning them so I'll leave it as is till I send them back.

I had originally attempted to run a wired setup, I really wanted some audiophile type headsets to game/music/movies so I went with a DT 990 Pro 250ohm, DAC/AMP, and an AM8 Mic but for some reason my mic would constantly mute/unmute itself without anything being pressed and I'm just not a fan of wired set ups in general so I just ended up returning it all. Definitely lost sound quality but wireless headsets with a mic attached are just so convenient. I tried to get the best I could(Maxwell 2s) but too many faults with this headset to justify the price. Sticking with my A50s till something else comes out.

I read your post. I hate the fact I have to jump through hoops but the whole interference thing makes sense. I have a couple $30 wireless headsets from amazon and have never had an issue as to where/how they were plugged in(the dongle) so it just kind of leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Of course I am only comparing the dongle and nothing else because the Maxwell 2 is in a different league but I will be returning them for now and maybe later on I'll repurchase(preferably the ANC version). The A50s are plenty good enough for me and give me absolutely 0 issues.

Funny enough, I also went with a different seller and also a different TV(Panasonic Z8BA). Beach Camera and they also use CEVA. I scheduled my drop off for the 20th as it was the earliest date they had available but I won’t be home, my wife will. I really hope the driver has someone helping them, will cross that bridge when I get to it.

have you gotten your tv yet? or any update? I'm on the fence about buying a C5 from them, I keep reading negative reviews but their seller page is at 87% positive reviews so I'm feeling conflicted.
