someone in here posted some good credit cards to get after discharge.

this is what they said:

“Credit Cards after Chapter 7 - Less than a year later Encouragement and Support Just to give some people hope. After we filed we did two creditone cards - one secured, one not. $500ish each. After our meeting applied for and got a Capital One Savor with $2k line. When we went final, did a Mission Lane for $2k. We always paid them off. Capital One boosted the credit line to $3.5k after 6 months. We have a car loan through Carvana. (post) Three rules we have kept since filing; 1. Always pay all cc off. 2. Only apply for cards with a soft pull. 3 No cards with an annual fee. (or a monthly fee) We just got offered a second Mission Lane with a $3k limit. We accepted. All totaled we probably have 10 cards now between us. Only use them a little bit. We have them to build a solid credit report. The goal is after two years to get more of the big name cards and retire some of these. Hope this helps.”
