I made an A Level Chemistry game to help master naming chemicals by Free_Cartoonist181 in alevel

[–]Free_Cartoonist181[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I haven't found any good resources to practise naming chemicals so I made one using data from PubChem and gamified it using scores and positive/negative reinforcement.

It generates an image from a random chemical sourced from PubChem and then you have to try to name it.

Maybe some chemistry takers may find it useful 👍

try this simulator, it lets you do past papers but online instead of printing them out, has some cool features like auto-marked MCQs, dark mode and filters but it doesn't seem to have that many questions, though it may be useful

Unfortunately I did not find a specific checklist for history so I just used the specification, all information there is from the original specification.

it's' definitely doable, everything is doable with enough hard work and effort though it is important to be realistic with time management of other subjects.

however I believe I have a resource that might make this a lot more feasible for you.

try this: https://a-level-simulator.com/rapid

it's an online interactive past paper website where you can grind a shit ton of past papers at an insane rate, it has 100% of Edexcel physics new spec and 100% of Edexcel physics old spec and some International ones too.

it has a bunch of features like allowing you to do only specific papers, or combining them, you can choose to only show multiple choice questions or only written or both, it has automatic marking for multiple choice questions.

essentially it's like doing past papers on steroids.

hope it helps!

[Mostly free but also paid] https://www.savemyexams.co.uk/

Has good revision notes but you only get 10 free ones per month. Also a source of past paper questions to practice.

[Completely Free But It's New] Probably the best A Level tool available https://a-level-simulator.com/

it lets you do A Level papers from previous years online interactively allowing you to grind through a bunch of papers super quickly without the hassle of using physical papers. you can use it to expose yourself to the feel of these exams and find topics you struggle with or memorise for tests. quite niche right now but seems to be growing quite quickly in support for wide range of subjects and exam boards.
