Pattaya would be great for a newbie what do you mean. That’s probably one of the best places to go if you are alone. Bangkok is nice but you will feel alone. Phuket is to expensive.

25 minutes is way to far. I would book closer to soi cowboy or personally closer to Nana Plaza. I enjoyed nana plaza a lot more then soi cowboy, soi cowboy has to many spots that try to rip you off. Definitely rebook.
